Improve your relationship or move on with your life after a break upcutting-cords.jpg

I felt compelled to answer a question on a forum this morning from a lady who is looking to 'heal her relationship with a man' (her words).

I love the question because this is one of the areas where have helped people in my hypnotherapy practice to find great relief in their lives. They often come to my practice in tears (hopelessness and despair). I love to see the change in them, they are different beings, it is so nice to see! Usually people do what they need to do in three sessions. We would start with an intake, asking you questions about your life, and more importantly, how you would like to feel, because that's what we work towards and that's what you will have at the end of the sessions (and don't worry if you have no idea, I have the 'magic questions' that will help you to reconnect with these pleasant emotions of hopefulness and positive expectation). One tool I love to use (one of among many other tools and approaches), depending on if it is the right match for the person, is called Simpson Protocol, it's a holistic approach to hypnosis that covers all areas: physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. We use finger movements while you are in a lovely state of hypnosis to answer yes/no questions about all kinds of things that may be related to your issue, such as fears, imprints, impressions, thoughts and ideas, experiences that may (or may not) have happened throughout your life that cause or affect this issue (resolving these is kind, compassionate and brings deep relief), even karma and past life contracts or vows (if that means something to you on some level, your yes finger will lift up and we'll resolve it). We check organs, etc. in the physical body, and balance the core, among other things. It takes about 90 mins. I might consider adding in a 'cutting the cords' visualisation. To release the energetic ties the person once had with her lover, thereby reducing the emotional charge associated with any unpleasant memories, while retaining pleasant memories and wisdoms learned from this important relationship in your life. It's deeply therapeutic.

If you've not had an experience of hypnosis before, what you need to know about this is that you are always aware and in control, it is always your choice to go into hypnosis, which is nothing more than a state of focus, a very natural state that you are in and out of all day long. In this lovely relaxed state, the subconscious mind is listening, the powerful part of you that knows how to resolve this or can find out how to do it. I hope this helps you, or maybe it will help someone else. I wish you well on your journey and hope you find the answers you are looking for.
